I generally deliver 30-40 images per hour of shooting. So an 8 hour elopement would result in 240-320 images!
what if you haven't been to our location before?
I always do a TON of research prior. I try to get there a couple days early to scout the locations we talked about. I scour tons of maps, news on what's currently going on at your location, and keep in contact with any park officials. I also ALWAYS create backup plans just incase something happens and things aren't going as we expected.
WHAT ARE YOUR TRAVEL FEES?
Every quote I give you will have all travel fess rolled in for elopements. I will never ever leave you with a bill for additional things, unless you're requesting additional hours or something along those lines. I believe in being 100% transparent with my pricing and I want to make things as simple as possible for you! So it's just one number you have to think about.
For Couple Sessions, we will discuss any travel fees if they apply at booking!
Do you help with elopement planning?
ABSOLUTELY! Honestly, I enjoy it as much as taking your photographs! I help you with every detail of your elopement, from narrowing down location and time of year, to the exact spot and time. I help find permit information for you, local vendors if wanted, awesome activities to do on your day, and making sure your elopement follows LNT principles. I'm your ultimate resource and elopement guide!
WHAT IF THERE'S BAD WEATHER?
I always come up with back up plans for every elopement! That way should bad weather come up, we're already on the same page about a backup plan. I will also add that some light rain or snow etc can create some amazing photos!
WHAT IF MY WEDDING DATE CHANGES?
I will always work with you to resolve any changes that happen. We can work to find another date that works for both of us and if we can't I will find an associate shooter that will give you a similar awesome experience and I will still edit all your images.
how many guests can you have at an elopement?
I cap my elopements at 25 guests. I enjoy photographing smaller weddings and most of the locations I go to require a small amount of people to get permits. The more people you have, the more limited your locations with be and more complicated logistics get.
HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENTS?
I accept payment plans that we can work out on an individual basis, but $1000 is due at the time of booking to hold the date and this goes toward the final amount. The rest of the total amount is due 30 days before the elopement date.
Can I get all the raws images?
After your elopement, I cull through the photos and weed out all the test shots, blurry ones, duplicates, etc. I edit all the ones that are left and deliver them to you in your personal online gallery. I don't give out the RAW images because I don't feel it is a true representation of my work, but I promise I'm sending all the photos that you would want!
i want to elope with you but i dont think i want to hike on our eleopement day.
That is 100% fine!! It's YOUR day! So we will do whatever YOU want. I can find places anywhere that require little to no hike. That'll leave more time for you to do some other really cool stuff! I treat all elopements with the same careful planning and preparation no matter how you want to spend your day.
